Multiple earthquakes in Sichuan province

As of 6:00 am, there have been 10 earthquakes with a magnitude of 3.0 or above that have occurred in Aba Tibet and Qiang autonomous prefecture in Southwest China's Sichuan province early Friday morning, with the largest magnitude being 6.0, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The 6.0-magnitude earthquake hit the Maerkang city at 1:28 am Friday (Beijing Time), according to the CENC.
The epicenter, with a depth of 13 km, was monitored at 32.25 degrees north latitude and 101.82 degrees east longitude, the CENC said.
A 5.8-magnitude earthquake was monitored earlier Friday in the city.
No casualty reported after earthquakes in China's Sichuan
CHENGDU -- No casualties have been reported as of 6 am Friday after two earthquakes above 5.0-magnitude hit Southwest China's Sichuan province, according to the provincial emergency response department.
A 5.8-magnitude quake first struck the Maerkang city of Aba Tibetan-Qiang autonomous prefecture at 00:03 am Friday (Beijing Time), followed by a 6.0-magnitude quake at 1:28 am, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
Disaster relief operations are under way in an orderly manner, the provincial department said.
The province has activated a level-III emergency response for the earthquake. More than 750 people from the fire department have been dispatched to the epicenter.
Meanwhile, a level-IV national emergency response has also been activated.
