Sept.3,2021 -- With an altitude of 5,450 meters, Ke Liya, a name of a mountain pass of Kunlun Mountains, located at the west of Kunlun Mountains, is on the border of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Tibet Autonomous Region.

According to the record, the PLA had paved roadbeds of 169 kilometers from here in order to link Xinjiang to Tibet. However, for its precipitousness, they changed to build another one---No. 219 national road. It starts from Yecheng County of Kashi Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, to Shiquanhe Town of Ngari Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region.
