More aiding cadres arrive in Tibet, Qinghai

July 29, 2016 -- The 8th group of aiding Tibet cadres and the 3rd group of aiding Qinghai cadres from the central government and enterprises have recently arrived Tibet and Qinghai to help local development. 

A total of 1,813 cadres were sent this time, including more medical and educational professionals.

Before leaving, they received training in Beijing.

In addition, other aiding cadres from different local governments  have also arrived Tibet and Qinghai.

It was in 1994 that China launched the cadre aid program. In the past 20 years, over 6,000 officials and professionals have been sent to work in Tibet and Qinghai.
