April 2,2020 -- In order to enhance the protection of wildlife, Tibet Autonomous Region plans to set up 24-hour surveillance cameras in the Qiangtang Natural Reserve.

In order to prevent law-breaking activities, Tibet’s forest police departments conducted a joint patrol in the natural reserve from Jan.2nd to 24th in 2020. 22 policemen covered 7,800 kilometers and patrolled the areas which wild animals frequent.

The forest police departments have also launched education campaigns to boot people’s awareness of wildlife protection, in which 570 people received training. Policemen also reviewed the fire safety work of the grasslands in Naqu and A’Li.
