| March 12,2018--The 16th Peach Blossom Tourism & Culture Festival will kick off in Bayi district, Nyingchi city of Tibet autonomous region on March 29.
Nyingchi, with an average elevation of 3,000 meters, is called the “Jiangnan of Tibet” (Jiangnan refers to the prosperous areas in the south of Yangtze River). It enjoys a pleasant climate and rich animal and plant resources.
During the one-month festival, seminars, photo exhibitions and folk sports events will be held. Festivities will also be held in Mainling county, Bomi county and Gongbujiangda county of the city.
Visitors will have the opportunity to visit seven A-class tourist attractions in Nyingch for free thanks to the region’s winter tourism promotion program.
