As a media professional and business of story telling, I can say so, that getting attention of viewers to topics like poverty alleviation, rural revitalization, green and sustainability issues is not always easy.

 

From the Discovery channel of perspective, working closely with our local creative partners here in China, and using their in-depth understanding of issues.

 

Let me now try and share some of the experiments we’ve done in the recent past to bring stores of development from Tibet and also other regions of China to the world.

In the unique six-part series on Xizang which we produced together with our partner CICC of Wuzhou a couple of years ago, living on the roof of the world, a group of international scientists and experts travel to Tibet and dive deep into the culture, traditions and daily lives of the people, and to see how modern Tibet is changing thanks to engineering, science and economic development.
