Introduction

The culture event series “Meet Across Millennium” showcasing the colourful civilizations along the Belt and Road was held in Spain and Israel from June 28 to July 4. The event was co-sponsored by the State Council Information Office (SCIO) of China and the Chinese Embassies in Spain and Israel. This event, featuring cultural varieties both in China and the world through the combination of traditional arts and sophisticated technologies, helped the audience to get a glimpse of the silk road journey spanning a thousand years. The wonderful performances of actors from northwest China's Gansu Province won warm applause.
