LHASA, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- Xingtso Lake is located in Gongbo'gyamda County, Nyingchi Prefecture, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.

 

It has the shape of a Jade Ruyi, a traditional Chinese ornamental object symbolizing good luck.

 

The lake is surrounded by lush primary forests, nourished by warm and wet air flowing from the faraway ocean.
