Nov. 25, 2016 -- An art exhibition involving the creations of artists from APEC member economies and that explores the true harmony between nature and mankind opened on Nov. 16 at the National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology and History in Peru.

Named "Humans and Nature," the exhibition displays 36 artworks created by hands and minds that hold different perspectives. It is also a part of the "Experience China" campaign, a regular program hosted by the State Council Information Office in a bid to present China to different countries.

Artists from different countries, including China, Peru and the United States, have created a variety of artistic styles. Most paintings and sculptures underscore and review the relations between humans and nature, some of which reflect the creators' concerns over sprawling urbanization and severely polluted environments.

Among the dozens of artistic creations, four artworks exhibited at the Beijing International Art Biennale by Peruvian artists have been brought back to their home country to mark this year's 45th anniversary of bilateral ties between China and Peru.

The exhibition is jointly sponsored by the China International Publishing Group, the Chinese Embassy to Peru and Peru's Chinese Central Society of Charity, and academically supported by the China Artists Association and undertaken by China Internet Information Center, will run until Dec. 18.
