Ngari develops salt mine to lead local people to get rich

Dec. 14, 2017 -- Since it has been established in 2005, the poverty-alleviation salt mine of Qangmai Village, Caka Town, Gegyai County, Ngari Prefecture has been fully developed so as to solve the employment issue of the poor masses and it has achieved good economic and social benefits.

In 2017, 35 salt miners of this salt mine are all employed from poor households that have established cards for archives and their annual income is expected to increase 12000 yuan per capita.
