March 16,2017--The documentary “Deep in Shambhala” will make its global debut on China Central Television (CCTV), China’s state broadcaster.

 

The documentary records Tibetans’ daily life in the Tibetan areas of Southwest China’s Sichuan province to show the beauties of nature and humanities in "Shambhala" cultural region.

 

It will be the first documentary about life in the Tibetan areas of Sichuan province which are China’s second largest Tibetan-inhabited region.

 

It took the filming team over 270 days to travel more than 110,000 kilometers to get the footage in Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Ganzi, Tibetan Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Ngawa and Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture.
