March 6, 2017 -- After the Spring Festival, a large number of migrant workers returning home are going to Tibet in succession with hope and visions for a new year. On the train Z166 from Shanghai to Lhasa, LiNing, one passenger from Xining is just like that. This is the first time he goes out to work, and there are many villagers say that here in Tibet one can make many more money than at home.  What is more, there are more opportunities in Tibet. It is reported that there are many migrant workers like him on the train.

 

In order to face the peak passenger flow after the holiday, the railway department of Tibet Autonomous Region strengthened the transport organization, tried hard to dig the potential to increase the transport capacity, and spared no effort in serving the passengers’ travel. The medical staff on the train said that the protection of the health of the passengers is their main responsibility. Before the departure of the train, an ample supply of anti high altitude reaction drugs have been perpared. Although each carriage is fully packed, all migrant workers get along well with each other.
