Experts and scholars attending this forum are mainly from Tibetan areas in China and they have firsthand knowledge of Tibet’s development, said An Qiyi.

 

Tibet Autonomous Region has long been playing an important role in China-Nepal relations and fruitful achievements have been scored. “Through this forum, I hope that Nepalese people would learn more about a real Tibet and Chinese people would also gain a deeper understanding of China-Nepal cultural origins,” said Yu Hong.

 

The Photo and Book Exhibition on Today’s Tibet was also inaugurated at the forum.

 

The forum is co-sponsored by China Tibetology Research Center, Embassy of China in Nepal, China Tibetan Cultural Protection and Development Association and Nepal Arniko Association.
