May 23,2017--A Tibetan cultural delegation organized by China’s State Council Information Office visited the Institute of Philosophy, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Monday .
Clodery, deputy director of the Institute, extended warm welcome to the delegation and hoped to deepen academic exchanges with China on the research of Tibetan Buddhism and the protection and inheritance of Tibetan culture.
The splendid Tibetan culture is an important component of the Chinese culture. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the protection and development of Tibetan culture, and its global exchanges, said Zheng Dui, head of the delegation.
Living Buddha Thubten Dakpa of Gyarsolin Monastery introduced the cultivation of religious talents and the living conditions of monks in China.
Li Jian, research assistant of China Tibetology Research Center gave an in-depth analysis of the inheritance and development of Thangka.
Sagan, a religious expert from Ukraine Institute of Philosophy, made a speech on the development trend of Buddhism in Ukraine and the world.
