Many countries have launched their poverty alleviation campaigns, but China’s achievements are outstanding. I think the secret is that China has focused on eliminating poverty both financially and mentally, said Kamakiya, professor at Shamal University in India.
During the past 40 years, China has tried many ways to provide its people with a better life, and their successful experiences are worth spreading, said Michelle Aglietta, a French economist.

China takes a leading role in implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals, including eradicating poverty, said Liu Zhenmin, deputy secretary-general of the UN.
China’s poverty relief efforts reflect the Chinese Communist Party’s people-oriented governing philosophy. Many places in the world are still suffering from poverty, so China’s experiences can set an example for them, said Gahn·Rovinsky, professor at Warsaw University in Poland.
Each country has its own conditions. China has blazed its own development trail and inspired other developing countries, said Albert Rodriguez, a columnist in Mexico.
China’s 2020 poverty eradication goal will not only benefit the Chinese people, but also make a huge contribution to the world, setting a good example to the countries around the globe, said Kamakiya.
