China promotes international education cooperation
Dec. 21, 2017 -- China has established education partnership with 188 countries and regions in the past five years, said the Ministry of Education on Monday.
Statistics shows China had signed agreements on mutual recognition of academic degrees and diplomas with 47 countries and organizations by the end of 2016.
High-level People-to-People Exchange Mechanisms have been established between China and Russia, the United States, the European Union, France, Indonesia, South Africa and Germany.
In order to build world-class universities and disciplines, the Ministry of Education had approved the establishment of 2,480 joint institutions and programs by the end of 2016.
