November 16, 2017 -- Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong and Tibor Navracsics, EU Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, co-chair the fourth meeting of China-EU High-level People-to-people Dialogue Tuesday in Shanghai, east China.
 
Since the establishment of the dialogue mechanism five years ago, China and the EU have seen increasing cooperation in education, culture, science and technology, media, sports, women and youth, which have strengthened connection between people of China and almost 30 European countries and injected new vigor into bilateral ties, said Liu.
 
Navracsics said the increasing people-to-people exchanges have been an important part of the EU-China relationship. The two sides should strengthen understanding and mutual trust and expand the width and depth of the EU-China relationship to promote a comprehensive and strategic partnership.
 
Liu and Navracsicsalso attended related seminars and activities during the meeting.
