Nov. 6, 2018 -- In recent years, Ngari Prefecture of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region has attached great importance to the work of ecological environmental protection and promoted the construction of ecological civilization with great efforts.
The system and mechanism has been continuously improved in Ngari Prefecture. The prefecture has successively implemented ecological protection systems such as evaluations of ecological civilization construction, audit work of natural resources, investigations to ecological environment damages, etc. Now 33 rivers and lakes have been protected and restored in all-round ways.
The rules and regulations have been continuously perfected. Green development has been promoted. Relying on the advantages of ecological resources, the prefecture set up funds for environmental protection in order to help the development of ecological industry and clean energy.
