Tibet invests $12.7b in environmental protection: White paper

May 21,2021 -- Tibet had invested 81.4 billion yuan (about $12.7 billion) in environmental protection as of 2020, said a white paper issued by China's State Council Information Office Friday.
 
Tibet has been making coordinated progress in improving the eco-environment, according to the white paper titled "Tibet Since 1951: Liberation, Development and Prosperity."
