April 30,2021 -- Recently, Qonggyai County of Shannan City held the opening ceremony of its first Day Care and Rehabilitation Center for the elderly.

 

The center's day care part was invested 5 million yuan RMB by its superior civil affairs department, with a construction area of about 1,120 m²; the rehabilitation part was invested 2 million yuan RMB by Hunan Province, with a construction area of about 400 m². These two parts are equipped with rehabilitation physiotherapy rooms, psychological counseling rooms, rehabilitation training rooms, multimedia activity rooms, rest rooms, reading rooms, billiards rooms, benevolence supermarkets, leisure and entertainment rooms, etc. to meet the needs of the elderly.
