Medical insurance system launched in Nyingchi

April 8,2020 -- Recently, Nyingchi City of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region has started to run the medical insurance system for urban and rural residents. The launch of this new system ends the history of manual reimbursement and brings a more convenient medical insurance service to 2.8 million farmers and herdsmen.

Next, following the principles of unified standard, comprehensive data and extensive services, Tibet will establish a new medical insurance system that provides a fairer and more efficient "one-stop" settlement service.
