Dec.6,2019 -- "In Pa Langsha Agritainment, when summer or autumn comes, visitors pick plums and apples, and there are tents and archery fields. Visitors not only taste delicious food, but also experience Tibetan folk customs here," says Pasang, secretary of Party branch of Pasha Village, in Gongbo'gyamda County.

Pa Langsha Agritainment is located in Pasha Village of Gongbo’gyamda County, Nyingchi City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. It is a Tibetan-style leisure resort covering entertainment, gourmet and folk custom experience.

In order to increase local residents' income, Pasang and other village cadres applied for an investment of two million yuan RMB to build this agritainment in early 2019. Based on local folk customs, Pasang designed its surrounding environment and took part in decorating work. The development of rural tourism attracted lots of tourists.

"This agritainment attracts more visitors, which also brings benefits to us," says a 70-year-old villager. Now, all impoverished households of Pasha Village have been lifted out of poverty. Most of local families have engaged in tourism industry.

Agritainment is just a part of local rural tourism. Its prosperity is an epitome of Gongbo'gyamda's tourist flourish. In recent years, boasting rich ecological resources, Gongbo'gyamda focuses on the goal of building an "all-for-one tourism county" and strengthens the construction of rural tourism. Taizhao Ancient City, Parga Temple and other tourist attractions run well. The county has become one of these ecological cultural tourism destinations in Tibet.

Following the mode of "tourism+beautiful villages, tourism+Internet, tourism+precision poverty alleviation", Gongbo'gyamda has harnessed preferential policies, rich resources and unique geographic location to extend the influence of tourism development. Now, tourism has become a pillar industry of the county. In 2018, it got rid of the poverty label.

Next year, the county will carry out promotion activities in more fields. With new rural tour routes and more influential tourism brands, it is expected to attract more tourists.
