It is easier to get online electronic tickets from 14:00 to 15:00 every day. Ticket holders are required to visit the Potala Palace during the scheduled time, otherwise, the ticket is considered invalid, and cannot be booked within seven days.

The number of travelers visiting the Potala Palace is limited to 5,000 every day. However, during the peak season, when the number of visitors surges, Potala Palace administration will launch the emergency plan to accept additional 2,000 visitors.
