| Jan. 29, 2019 -- In recent years, based on its actual situation, Lieda Village of Wangda Town in Zogang County has been chosen for pilot construction of beautiful countryside. Projects with local features such as greenhouses, farmers and herdsmen construction team, and Tibetan-style agritainment have been actively carried out, which not only promote the diversified and healthy development of rural collective economy, but also provide employment opportunities for local villagers.
Implementing vegetable basket program to increase income.
For years, Lieda Village has invested a total of 2.91 million yuan RMB to build 30 solar greenhouses with a cover area of 40 mu (about 2.667 hectares). According to the allocation criteria, one greenhouse will be allocated to 4 households, and the 4 households should take full responsibilities to grow and manage the greenhouse together. According to statistics, the annual output value of the 30 greenhouses reaches about 1 million yuan RMB, and each household witnesses an average income increase of 9,000 yuan RMB, which benefiting 716 people from 117 households, and lifting 45 poor people from 16 poor households out of poverty.
Forming farmers and herdsmen construction team to earn money.
To seize the opportunity of new countryside and beautiful countryside construction, in 2012, Lieda Village set up its construction team consisted of farmers and herdsmen with a registered capital of 500,000 yuan RMB. The business was under the unified leadership of the village party branch, villager' committee and the village task force. All the 117 households from Lieda Village became shareholders of the construction team. At present, the construction team owns more than 70 sets of transport equipment, and an expanding business scope. Each year, every household can get a dividend of around 10,000 yuan RMB.
Running Tibetan-style agritainment to boost tourism development.
To make full use of its geographical advantages along the National Highway 318, known as the most beautiful highway in China, Lieda Village encourages the villagers to set up agritainment tourism reception points with Tibetan characteristics. Meanwhile, a tourism service reception center integrating exhibition hall, parking lot, business hotel and restaurant has been built. Up to now, 112 Tibetan-style family inns are under operating with a total annual income of about 336,000 yuan RMB every year.
Building the exhibition hall to inspire the next generation.
To enrich villagers' spiritual and cultural life, Zogang County launched the project of a village-level folk cultural relics exhibition hall in 2012 and completed the construction in November 2018, which was the first of its kind in Qamdo City. At present, 500 pieces of cultural relics have been collected from the villagers.
