Oct. 23, 2018 -- Since this year, in consideration of the special geographical position and the arduous task of ecological protection, and through cooperating with the village task force, Lhunzhub County has built a grass and livestock professional cooperative in Bainang Village, so as to develop the rural collective economics and increase people's income.

After adopting a series of measures, the professional cooperative won the third place in the selection of demonstration cooperatives among hundreds of farmers and herdsmen's cooperatives in Lhasa city. The village task force was committed to promoting the infrastructure construction of the cooperative with the purpose of making the cooperative develop better, and more than 70,000 yuan was raised to extend the plant. Meanwhile, the cooperative raised 130,000 yuan from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Faculty of Science of Tibet University and other units to purchase a baling machine. In addition, a flat truck which was worth 230,000 yuan was also bought. At present, with the continuous improvement of mechanization, the total value of machinery and equipment in the cooperative has exceeded 1 million yuan, which promotes large scale production, management standardization and business industrialization.
