Scenic spots in Tibet offer half-price tickets

With a 1,300-year-old history, the ancient saltern in Markham of Chamdo, southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, stands at an altitude of 2,300 meters. It is also well-known for “Tea-horse Ancient Road”, which has been an important traffic artery since ancient times. 
 
Traffic: Visitors could travel to Markham’s saltern which is 1,366 kilometers away from Lhasa, capital of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, by a regular bus.

Admission is 50 yuan.
 
Legpo boasts pleasant climate, rich species and impressive scenery.
 
Traffic: Visitors could travel to Legpo Gou by charter bus.
 
Lhagyari Palace

Admission is free.
 
Lhagyari Palace, located in the south of Chusum County, Shannan of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, was established in the 13th century. 
 
Traffic: Visitors could start from Tsethang of Shannan, southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, and then drive to Chusum County.
