|May 16,2018--On May 18, the direct flight from Lhasa to Wuhan will be opened by Tibet Airlines. The route is planned to have a daily round-trip run by airbus A319 and the one-way flight takes about 3.5 hours.
The opening of the direct flight will not only bring great convenience for traveling, but also can attract more tourists to travel to Tibet. As an aid-Tibet city, Wuhan has frequent political, economic, trade and tourism exchanges with Tibet. In the past, it takes about 7 hours by taking stopover or transit flight. Now the opening of this direct flight can greatly shorten the flight time and further ensure the smooth operation of aid-Tibet work.
