Bangzhong Village is located beside the Mainling Airport and it is a Han, Tibetan, and Lhoba ethnic minority based aggregation village. Besides, it is a famous "civilized village" and "peace village".

Neat Tibetan-style courtyards, criss-crossed concrete roads, new kindergartens, and moderns shops all can show the new outlook of this village.

"We will respond to the national call, take advantage of good policies, and positively develop characteristic industries so as to lead the masses to get rich. I have faith in it," Urgyen Tsering said.

When it comes to the topic of poverty alleviation, the villagers' chatterbox is suddenly opened. Through running transportation, family tour, resource acquisition, catering and other businesses, there is no problem for Bangzhong Vilage to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects in 2020.

"Not only that, we also have various industries, vegetable basket project, border well-off village project, airport trade logistics park, hotel exhibition project and so on," village director Norbu said.

By the end of 2016, the annual per capita net income of Bangzhong Village can reach 16,900 yuan. There are 26 poor households that have established cards for archives and they can all get rid of poverty through poverty-relief policies.

Villager Dawa lives in a two-storey Tibetan-style house and colour TV, refrigerator, washing machine, disinfection cabinet and other home appliances are all equipped. He says, "the comfortable housing project enable me to live in such as beautiful house. It is like a dream to me." Like Dawa, 165 households of Bangda Village all live in such kind of new houses.
