Nov. 24, 2017 -- Recently, the commendation conference on national spiritual civilization building was held in Beijing and the list of the first session of national civilized campuses was announced. Tibet University, Lhasa Middle School, and Shigatse Primary School in Tibet Autonomous Region were awarded as national civilized campuses.

To positively cultivate and implement socialist core values, fully display achievements of the construction of school spiritual civilization, and further promote the creation of civilized campuses, 494 schools were selected as the first session of national civilized campuses from tens of thousands of schools across the country by the Central Spirit Civilization Office and the Ministry of Education.
