New runway of Chamdo Bangda Airport put into use

Nov.1,2017--On October 28, the newly-built runway of Chamdo Bangda Airport was officially put into use, ushering in a new period of rapid growth.
 
By October 20 this year, a total of 19000 flights took off or landed at Bangda Airport, and it achieved 1.876 million passenger throughput.
 
In 2015, with a total investment of 849 million yuan, the airfield renovation project was started and it was built on 4C standard.
 
Next, Bangda Airport will add more flights flying to Lhasa, Chengdu, and Chongqing.In the future, flights flying to Tianjin, Fujian, and other aid-Tibet provinces (cities) are expected to be available. Then, Chamdo’s traffic conditions will be improved.
