July 3,2017--The culture and education authorities in Tibet have worked together to promote integration of folk dancing and physical exercises between classes at school, encouraging students to learn and inherit intangible cultural heritages.
In Qamdo city, folk dances like Gordro dance, ralpa dance have been adapted and get popular with students.
In Lhoka city, more than 14,000 teachers and students have embraced Tibetan traditional art on campuses.
In Nyingchi, Shigatse, and Ngari, traditional songs, dances and operas have been introduced into schools.
Through these activities, students can appreciate the charm of Tibetan traditional culture and enhance their awareness in promoting its inheritance and protection.
