Tibet: Fifth Intl. Mountain Bike Race of Basomtso to kick off in late April

April 17,2017--On April 30, 2017, The 2017 Fifth International Mountain Bike Race of Basomtso is going to kick off at Basum Lake National Forest Park, which will last for three days.
 
As China’s highest mountain bike race, the International Mountain Bike Race of Basomtso has already successfully held four sessions. Since the third race of Basomtso in 2015, foreign players from England, America, Austrila, Korea and so on have taken part in the race and competed for the champion, which makes the race an international competition.
 
At an altitude of 3,600 meters, it requires the players have good physical stamina. There is the natural beauty of lakes and mountains throughout the race route. The snow mountain does not melt throughout the year.
 
It is reported that the whole racing track is 99 kilometers long, and the race will be completed within two days. On the first day, the race starts from the gate of Basong Lake Scenic Spot and ends at Jieba Village of the big Basong Lake region. On the next day, the players will start their race from Jieba Villager, pass through Santon Grassland, then go back the same way to the end point - the gate of Basong Lake Scenic Spot.
