Tibet Science and Technology Office carries out 22 items for poverty reduction

Feb. 6, 2017 -- According to Tibet Science and Technology Office, during the period of 13th Five-Year Plan, new species and new technology will be used largely in the construction of new countryside in China’s Tibet. A series of practical technology training will be organized. Through the demonstration activity of new farm machines, high effective farming technology will be largely popularized, which will improve the farming level and decrease production cost.

In addition, Tibet Science and Technology Office will continue to organize a batch of innovation projects in crop seed industry and livestock industry. In 2016, 22 items of the use of science and technology for targeted poverty alleviation have started, covering 807 poverty-stricken families. It is useful to eliminate poverty.
