100 Tibet schools to receive education aid

Jan. 16, 2017 -- During the 13th Five - Year Plan period, 100 Tibet primary and secondary schools and kindergartens will receive education aid from 100 schools in counterpart provinces, so as to improve the curriculum system and teaching quality, according to the Ministry of Education on Jan. 12.
According to the Opinions on Strengthening Targeted Education Aid for Tibet Autonomous Region and Tibetan Areas in Four Provinces issued by the Ministry of Education, 800 teachers from Beijing and other provinces will be sent to Tibet, and 27 universities, including Peking University, will provide targeted aid for 6 universities in Tibet.
