Oct.12, 2016 -- At the beginning of 2016, all cities in China's have access to the fiber-optic broadband. On that basis, China Telecom spent more than 86 million yuan (about 12.8 million U.S. dollars) on extending optical networks to towns. As of Sept. 30, the optical network has covered 682 towns in Tibet. In the 13th Five-Year period, China Telecom will promote the development of basic information resources, making the fiber-optic broadband more faster. With information network technology and the Internet, Internet will integrate with more traditional industries, accelerating the construction of broadband Tibet, intelligent city, intelligent industry and intelligent family.
