Tourism weather station established in Pulan, Ngari

Sept. 28, 2016 -- Dromara Weather Station, the first tourism weather station in Pulan County, Ngari Prefecture, has been established recently.
As the first batch of construction projects with local investment, Dromara Weather Station aims to ensure the tourism weather service around Gang Rinpoche. Gang Rinpoche means precious jewel snow mountain in Tibetan. Located at an altitude of 6656 meters, it is one of China's top ten famous mountains. It is also famous Buddhist holy land, attracting millions of believers and tourists from Nepal and India every year.
Dromara Weather Station will timely deliver meteorological elements including temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, snow depth, radiation and so on. In addition, it can provide accurate and convenient forecast service and warning message to tourists and believers, further promoting the development of Tibet tourism.
