It is said that, in the first half year of 2016, the Lhasa Economic & Technology Development Zone implemented the fixed-asset investment of 1.2 billion yuan, increasing 188%, while the tax revenue is 3.093 billion yuan. The business income of enterprises supervised by the State Asset Regulatory Commission reaches 3.683 billion yuan and the profit is 598 million yuan. Looking from the angle of registration type, sate-owned enterprises, collective enterprises and joint-stock enterprises are the main power promoting the industrial economic development. Looking from the angle of various industries, characteristic industries such as non-ferrous metals mining industry, agricultural food processing industry, beverage manufacturing industry, pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, electricity and heating production and supply industry, natural drinking water industry and so on become a highlight of the industrial economy.

 

With the changing of management concept as well as the improving of traffic and trade conditions, the drinking water bottles (cans) industry in Tibet begins to stand out from the crowd and plays an important role. In the first half year, the output reaches 159000 tons, increasing 50%.

 

2016 is the beginning year of the 13th Five-Year Plan. Though the national price persists high and economy situation is complicated and severe, the party and government at all levels try to tighten macro-control, actively improve the economic development environment, and promote the rapid development of national economy.
