Lhasa Railway Station sees over 15,000 tourists daily

July 25, 2016 -- Since the begining of July, Lhasa Railway Station has entered into the summer tourism peak period. Since the 11th day of this month, the number of daily tourists getting in and out of Tibet is about 15,000, among which the number of passengers originated is about 6,600.
As the tourism in Tibet is heating up, the volume of passengers getting in and out of Tibet has been on the rise as well. It is reported that since the begining of July, Lhasa Railway Station sends an average of 6,536 passengers daily, and receives an average of 7,279 passengers daily. 
Warm reminder from the staff of Lhasa Railway Station, passengers should arrive at the railway station one hour earlier to go through the formalities for taking trains.
