Compared with previous years, this year's Shoton Festival has added sales activities in rural area. During the period, Lhasa will fully mobilize large commercial enterprises to sell automobiles, home appliances and furniture, furniture, daily necessities and other commodities in Damxung, Nyemo and Lhunzhub counties, so as to promote consumption in agricultural and pastoral areas. In addition, during the festival, Bureau of Culture of Lhasa City will organize and carry out artistic performances to enrich farmers and herdsmen's cultural life.

 

According to the city's requirements on epidemic prevention and control, traditional Tibetan opera performances and counties' (district's) art troupe performances will be held at Norbulingka, Dzongyab Lukhang Park, Baina Furrow, Dagdong Village, Lhalu Wetland Park, Shangshung Metog Scenic Spot, Zhou Ji Square and other urban areas to further reduce the risk of epidemic prevention and control.
