The series was organized by the State Council Information Office of China and the Chinese Embassy in the Czech Republic. Events included singing and dancing performances featuring the ancient Dunhuang culture, three movies presenting the nature and people of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and wildlife of China, as well as more than 40 photographs capturing western China's scenery, ecology and environment, everyday life and traditional culture.
