Chinese and Tibetan Calligraphy Research Institute established

Nov. 29, 2017 -- On the morning of Nov. 26, the Chinese and Tibetan Calligraphy Research Institute was established and the opening ceremony was held at Tibet Vocational Technical Institute, which plays an important role in promoting and inheriting Chinese and Tibetan calligraphic art as well as provides a platform for culture exchange.

The establishment of Chinese and Tibetan Calligraphy Research Institute is an important decision made by Tibet Vocational Technical Institute to adapt to the development of new times and build a strong culture area. In the middle of December, a free training on Chinese and Tibetan calligraphy will be held.

Fan Xueli, dean of Chinese and Tibetan Calligraphy Research Institute, introduces that through holding calligraphy meeting, academic seminar, exhibition and art training, the institute will create more art works and make a contribution to the strategy of building a strong culture area.

To guarantee the healthy development of this institute, the advisory group is built with 11 counselors and 14 professors who can offer advice and make contributions.
