Aug.3,2017--On August 1, the 2nd Kula Kangri Cultural Tourism Festival was kicked off in Lhozhag County, Lhoka City, Tibet Autonomous Region.
This festival will last for 5 days and it will be ended on August 5. During the festival, commodity fair, intangible cultural heritage exhibition, Sgor-gzhas song and dance, and traditional sports games will also be held.
According to the Bureau of Commerce of Lhozhag County, 208 merchants from Lhozhag County and 192 merchants from other places take part in the festival. Among which, 36 merchants sell local characteristic products.
Pema Dorje, deputy secretary and governor of Lhozhag County, introduces that the commodity fair will be held from August 1 to 5 every year. Now, it has been successfully held for 33 sessions.
Last year, this commodity fair was upgraded as the cultural tourism festival, marking that Lhozhag Coutny's tourism development enters a new stage.
