Tibet’s cultural industry focuses on specialty

Oct. 20, 2016 -- In recent years, Tibet's cultural industry develops very well and has made great achievements. However, due to late starting, poor basis, small market, few talent and small investment, the cultural industry is still in early infancy, according to the Cultural Department of Tibet Autonomous Region.
 
At present, Tibet's cultural industry still faces great pressure. The existing problems are mainly as followings: Policy guarantee is imperfect, special funds for cultural development is less, the supporting power is not enough, linkage mechanism is not sound, alignment degree is low, qualified market players and backbone cultural enterprises are fewer, industrial concentration is low, the amount and level of cultural industry is low, and cultural products with international influence are lack.
 
At the same time, Tibet's cultural industry also faces important development opportunities under the background of the overall prosperity. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Tibet's cultural departments will try the best to seize opportunities, forge ahead with determination, and comprehensively promote thenice and fast development ofcultural industry.
 
Apart from that, Tibet positively and steadily promotes cultural system reform and establishes modern enterprise system. The governmental joint conference is established to strengthen and perfect the development policy. Financing system is established to strengthen the supporting degree to key cultural projects and backbone cultural enterprises. All the above measures aims to convert potential Tibetan cultural resources into real development advantages.
 
In addition, Tibet tries to cultivate a batch of backbone cultural enterprises with strength and competitiveness so as to fully play the leading role. Key support projects are implemented to promote the scale, centralization and specialization level of cultural industry. Characteristic brands are created to expand the influence of Tibetan culture.
