Digital cultural corridor fully covered in villages and towns in Lhoka

Oct. 18, 2016 -- It is said that Lhoka's first and second batch of frontier digital cultural corridor construction projects have successfully passed the inspection and acceptance and have been put into operation, taking the lead in realizing the full coverage of digital cultural corridor at village and town level, according to the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Lhoka City.

The frontier digital cultural corridor project is an important project which has been included in the cultural sharing projects of the 12th Five Year Plan. Its equipment and facilities include all-in-one machine, vidicon, iPad, Chinese culture network interactive TV terminal and so on. By using technological means such as internet and mobile communication, the project gathers and shares digital cultural resources with frontier characteristics, eliminates blind spots, builds a broad and highly efficient public digital cultureservice network, creates the frontier public culture service brand, and carries out customized resources push service.

With a total investment of more than 17.3 million yuan, the two batches of frontier digital cultural corridor projects have been carried out since 2015 and have passed the inspection and acceptance in September this year. An operation training is also held for basic-level managers. In addition, characteristic digital cultural facilities are equipped for 82 towns and 550 villagers in Lhoka, which improves the allocation standard of grassroots culture service points, expands the service scope at the grass-roots level, promotes the cultural service ability, and creates a relaxed and cheerfuldigital rural cultural space.

In August, 2016, Lhoka City successfully established the second batch of national level demonstration zone of public cultural service system, making its cultural facility more perfect. By strengthening the combination of science and culture, fully using modern technology, and promoting the construction of digital cultural service system, the interconnection and resource sharing of cultural information are further promoted.

Public electronic reading rooms are built, providing public internet services with healthy content, standardized service and good environment. The resources sharing network system of national cultural information is basically covered in all cities, counties, towns and villages in Lhoka.

At the same time, the one card system is implemented for libraries at city and county level. 150 peasant satellite digital reading rooms are established, proving convenient digital cultural services for the masses. In addition, Lhoka culture network, Lhoka intangible resources digital library, and mobile news information publicity platform are established with the aim of positively providing various digital cultural services and let the masses enjoy the most convenient cultural resources services.
