Aug. 22, 2016 -- Tibetan teenager Dan Na published his first comic book, which is also Tibet’s first bilingual and original comic book.

The book “Other Side of Artistic Conception” tells Tibetan stories of fantasy and has recently been published by Tibet People's Publishing House.

The book conference was held on August 8 and all booked payments together with some books will be donated to poor children in rural areas in Changdu at the end of this month.

"I hope that my comic book originates from Tibetan traditional stories and at the meantime meets the common interests of modern teenagers," said Dan Na.

"I am now working on my second comic book. This time, there will be less description of fighting scenes and more of inner world of characters," said Dan Na.

"Danna’s book demonstrates dreams of Tibetan teenagers," said Gongga Jiacuo, a well-known modern artist.

"Danna’s book was a fantasy fiction completed with words of the youth, reflecting young dreams. This book has filled up a blank in Tibetan literature," said Ciren Luobu, a well-known Tibetan writer.
