Aug.17, 2016 -- The Modern Tibetan Dictionary which is compiled by Tibet People's Publishing House for 8 years has been published and distributed recently. It is the first comprehensive modern Tibetan dictionary published by Tibet Autonomous Region.

It is said that more than 80000 entries are recorded in the dictionary. Apart from commonly used words, more widely used new jargon, some Sanskrit words and documentary words in Tibetan historical files are also recorded, which are fit for elementary students, undergraduates, researchers and different groups of people.
