The 18 infrastructure construction projects of cultural tourism and natural heritage protection are divided in 3 types, namely the national culture and natural heritage protection infrastructure construction, tourism infrastructure and public service infrastructure construction, and public culture infrastructure construction. The goal of cultural cause is to build Lhasa as the Chinese characteristic cultural protection site and important world tourism destination by 2020.

 

The 18 projects includes Reting National Forest Park, Namtso-Nyainqentanglha scenic spots, Lhasa city blocks, Tonba Village in Tonba Town, Nyemo County, Lhasa City, Nyemo white mask Tibetan opera protection site,Lhasa Nangma protection and inheritance site, Lhasa Chushur national art troupe, 5 newly-built county-level libraries, etc. In addition, Lhasa City will further improve the work of city blocks. Some old compounds will be repaired and signs and scutcheons will be set up. The Reting National Forest Park is planed to improve the monitoring system and build the tourists paths. Namtso scenic spot is listed as the tourism and public infrastructure construction project, which will provide convenient and comprehensive services to tourists.

 

Relying on resources such as historical and cultural blocks, historical old towns, intangible cultural heritages and local characteristic culture, Lhasa will build a batch of high starting point, large-scale, characteristic cultural industry demonstration bases (parks) including  Thonmiling Tibetan art expo industry base, Yarlung Zangbo culture expo industry base, and Togde Valley original cultural industry base. In addition, by depending on entertainment market, using modern high-tech method, and emphasizing on classic and tourism repertoires, the brand and market efficiency of a series of excellent dramas will be improved. At the same time, performing art enterprises are encouraged to bring in high-end repertoires.
