Tibet's legislators visit India

May 12, 2016 -- A delegation of Tibetan legislators, headed by Xu Xueguang, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Tibet, visited India and held talks with his Indian counterparts.
 
Xu gave an introduction of Tibet's economic and social development in recent years and praised the development of China-India relations in various fields.
 
"As India's neighbor, Tibet pays high attention to facilitating cooperation with India. A series of measures have been implemented. We hope India to be more open and positive in border trades, personnel and cultural exchanges," Xu added.
 
 
Indian legislators spoke highly of Tibet's economic and social achievements and promised to strengthen trade cooperation and cultural exchanges between the two sides.
