Sept. 26, 2016 -- Qinghai’s Guoluo airport will launch its first airline (flight No.: MU2307/08) on Spet.27, linking Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi province, Xi’ning and Guoluo of Qinghai province.
At an altitude of 3787.6 meters, Guoluo airport is the 6th highest airport in China and 8th highest in the world. The construction of the airport was completed in May.
"The new airline connects Guoluo with Xi’an, the biggest city in Northwestern China, which will facilitate trade and promote economic and social development of Guoluo," said a local personnel of Xi’ning airport.
The new airline will also promote tourism in Guoluo region which is abundant with tourism resources.
