Construction of Shangri-La railway station accelerates

April 30,2020 -- The Shangri-La railway station, which is under construction in southwest China’s Yunnan province, is scheduled to open in July next year.
 
The station will cover an area of 10,000 square meters with a 550m×12m×1.25m main platform and a 550m×10.5m×1.25m platform. The 22-meter high station house will have two floors. Two 8-meter wide tunnels for entrance and exit are designed. The waiting hall with an area of 3,883 square meters can accommodate 2,000 people. The ticket lobby, offices and machine room will be on the left with the departure hall and luggage claim hall on the right.
